Dr.  with patientThe Pinehurst Medical Clinic Cardiology section is comprised of fourteen, all of whom are board certified in both Internal medicine and Cardiology. After completing their training in general cardiology, most of our Cardiologists have gone on to complete further specialized cardiology training. The following specialty areas are represented within the Pinehurst Medical Cardiology section:

  • Invasive Cardiology
  • Interventional Cardiology
  • Electrophysiology
  • Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Cardiovascular Computerized Tomography
  • Cardiovascular Ultrasound
  • Nuclear Cardiology

A full range of on-site diagnostic and therapeutic services are available for patients who see a Pinehurst Medical Clinic cardiologist. Some of the services provided include:

  • Electrocardiograms
  • Echocardiograms (two- and three-dimensional)
  • Exercise stress tests and stress echo
  • Holter monitoring
  • Lipid clinic
  • Nuclear cardiology
  • Pacemaker analysis
  • External counterpulsation
  • Computerized tomography (CT)

In addition to the above, we deliver a comprehensive package of hospital-based services and procedures. When indicated, your care will be supported by an experienced team of specialty and primary care physicians in areas outside of Cardiology. All services are performed in state-of-the-art facilities utilizing the most up-to-date medical technology.
