As pulmonary specialists, they have expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases affecting the respiratory system, including:

  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and other thoracic malignancies

To diagnose and evaluate diseases affecting the chest, the pulmonary specialists of Pinehurst Medical Clinic utilize a wide range of state-of-the-art services available on-site, including:

  • Arterial blood gas testing
  • Blood allergy testing
  • Bronchial provocation testing
  • Cardiopulmonary exercise testing
  • Chest X-rays
  • Computed tomography (CT) scanning
  • Oximetry testing
  • Pulmonary function tests

In addition to the above, the pulmonary specialists at Pinehurst Medical Clinic also deliver a comprehensive package of hospital-based services and procedures, including positron emission tomography (PET) scans, fiber-optic bronchoscopy, and endoscopic interventions.
When indicated, we also offer referral to experienced, board-certified physicians in all other Pinehurst Medical Clinic subspecialties, including cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, and geriatrics. All subspecialty services are performed in state-of-the-art facilities using the most up-to-date medical technology.
