Joy Bradford, RD LDN

Health Coach

Joy started at Pinehurst Medical Clinic in April of 2017 and have been a Registered Dietitian for 13 years. Her career includes experience in Long-Term Care, Dialysis, and Acute Hospital Care. Her most recent experience prior to joining the team at PMC were outpatient nutrition counseling for active duty military and military dependents at Womack Army Medical Center and being the Director of Nutrition in Public Health for a neighboring county.

At Pinehurst Medical Clinic Joy enjoys working in preventative health conducting Annual Wellness Visits to help identify potential health risks and assisting patients with their weight loss journeys through Intensive Behavioral Therapy. In addition to prevention, she also teaches patients to manage diabetes and other chronic health conditions in Diabetes Self-Management Education and Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Hippocrates, an ancient Greek physician and philosopher who is known today as the father of medicine, stated “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” She believes this remains relevant today in highlighting nutrition’s important role in medicine and wellness. Joy’s goal at PMC is to help our patients use nutrition and lifestyle to be the healthiest versions of themselves.
