Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes New Physician Assistant to Sanford Walk-In Clinic

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to welcome Kendra Brandt, PA-C, to the team at PMC Walk-In Clinic – Sanford to further its accessibility to PMC patients needing convenient, same-day care. The PMC Walk-In Clinic location at 555 Carthage Street, Sanford, NC, is one of two walk-in clinic locations available to PMC patients.

Brandt attended the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and South University, Savannah, GA, where she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

Brandt joined the PMC team with over seven years of clinical experience, and she pursued a career in healthcare as she has been captivated by medicine from a young age. She states, "In addition to my love for medicine and solving problems, a career in healthcare has allowed me to directly improve the well-being of others. Whether it's through diagnosing and treating illnesses, providing emotional support, or promoting preventive care, I find fulfillment in contributing to the health and happiness of individuals and communities".

Brandt’s care philosophy is centered on the importance of patient advocacy and empowering patients to actively participate in their own healthcare decisions while approaching every patient with cultural sensitivity, empathy, and respect.

Outside of patient care, Brandt enjoys spending time in the mountains and traveling. She relocated to North Carolina in 2022 and is a proud Army wife and dog mom.
