When to Go Where for the Right Care

Proceed to the nearest emergency department if you are experiencing any of these symptoms:

  • Chest pain or heart attack symptoms
  • Stroke symptoms
  • Significant difficulty breathing
  • Moderate to severe head injury
  • Loss of consciousness or severe vertigo
  • Broken bones (*Use emergency department when orthopaedic after hours clinic is closed)
  • Severe pain, especially in the abdomen/chest/stomach
  • Possible drug overdose or poisoning
  • ...and more
