Beth Ward, MSW, ACSW, LCSW, is a member of Pinehurst Medical Clinic's Wellness Department, serving patients utilizing their behavioral health services.

Beth earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. She is a native Charlottean and was in private practice there for over 15 years as a licensed clinical social worker. She moved to the N.C. coast and was honored to help those who serve in the Special Forces with active duty military members and their families.

With 30 years of clinical work experience, Beth has developed a care philosophy that aims to create strong provider-patient relationships that aid in forming an environment that is safe and trusting. She believes in helping her patients get back to the basics by providing the resources they need to learn how to see emotional and physical hardships as teaching tools and not as roadblocks.

Beth seeks to learn daily about all health topics that improve her patients' lives. As a health coach at PMC, Beth works with older adolescents and adults of all ages. She utilizes evidence-based practices to enhance patients' lives in spite of grief, trauma, pain, depression, or anxiety.

By gaining awareness and insight into patterns and issues that affect her patients' everyday life, she can offer assessment, education, and diagnosis and provide various treatment modalities to guide patients to live their best.
