Biography
Karen Wells, LPN, MSW, LCSW, is a member of Pinehurst Medical Clinic's Wellness Department.
Karen's care philosophy is to meet all her patients/clients where they are and treat them the way she would like to be treated, with dignity and respect. She understands that each person is an individual, and although their signs and symptoms may mimic someone else's, they deserve an individual plan of care created specifically for their needs.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, and her Masters in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. Karen is a native of North Carolina with over 16 years of experience.
Outside of caring for patients, Karen is a mother and proud grandmother. She enjoys traveling, roller skating, and creating beauty through food, home projects, and art. She is active in her church, loves spending quality time with family and friends, and supports the community by assisting the unsheltered.
