Biography
Shelby Johnson, PA, will see patients at PMC’s Walk in Clinics in Sanford, NC and Southern Pines, NC. Shelby earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, CO and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological studies from the University of Portland, Portland, OR.
Driven by a strong desire to help others and empower them to take charge of their health, Shelby is passionate about patient education and shared decision-making. Her care philosophy centers on equipping patients with the knowledge they need to make informed health choices.
As a PMC Walk-In Clinic provider, Shelby will treat issues such as urinary tract infections, cold and flu symptoms, constipation, rashes or shingles, muscle sprains and strains, mild burns and other non-life-threatening conditions. PMC’s Walk-In Clinics provide same-day access for many non-emergency needs, so established PMC patients can get timely care from a team they already trust.
Originally from Colorado, Shelby now calls North Carolina home, where she lives with husband their three children and their dog. She enjoys running, spending time in the mountains, and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.
