By helping to bring the dermatology specialty to Pinehurst Medical Clinic, Dr. Juliann Wallner has been one of the pioneers in establishing, growing and setting PMC - Dermatology as the standard of dermatological care in the Sandhills.
Dr. Wallner grew up in Colorado and practiced in the Denver area before coming to Pinehurst in 2015. She enjoys the small-town feel of Moore County but notes that one of her favorite parts of the community is its range of outdoor activities.
Many know Pinehurst as the Home of American Golf; however, it also accommodates those who enjoy tennis, paddle boarding, horseback riding, hiking, and more. As an avid equestrian, Dr. Wallner considers it a blessing to have hundreds of miles of protected long-leaf pine forest to explore on horseback, as the Walthour-Moss Foundation is right by her farm.
As a PMC physician for eight years, Dr. Wallner considers it a privilege to serve the community in which she resides. She states that her patients appreciate the care they receive and are a diverse group that brings different perspectives and interests to their healthcare.
Dr. Wallner also enjoys the collaboration that being a physician at PMC allows for. As part of an established healthcare organization, Dr. Wallner appreciates that administrative tasks are managed, allowing her to fully focus on serving her patients.
