Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes New Primary Care Physician in Sanford, Expands Primary Care Team

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Nikitha Paluri, a board-certified primary care physician, to the established team in Sanford. With over 12 years of experience in patient-centered care, Paluri will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive health services to the community.

Paluri graduated from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies, and completed residency at MedStar Harbor Hospital Center, Baltimore, MD. She chose to pursue a healthcare career, as she has always been driven by a deep desire to help others in their most vulnerable moments. "There's something incredibly humbling about making a positive difference in someone's life, whether offering comfort during a difficult time or supporting them on their journey to better health," Paluri says. "Healthcare allows me to blend my passion for science with my compassion for people, and every day I’m reminded of the privilege it is to be trusted with someone’s care."

Paluri is joining PMC's primary care department, which has 25 physicians and 40 advanced practice providers who are board-certified in internal or family medicine. PMC primary care providers are experts in promoting healthy living, disease prevention, health maintenance, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and more. As part of the PMC organization, primary care providers have access to several specialty care and wellness resources to provide the best possible care to improve their patients' overall health and well-being.
Outside work, Paluri enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and exploring nature with her two young girls, who remind her of the simple joys in life.
