Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is proud to welcome Kimberly Collins, MSN, APRN, FNP, to the Endocrinology team in Southern Pines.
Collins graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Clarion, PA. She also graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Gannon University, Erie, PA.
Healthcare was a natural choice for Collins, who genuinely enjoys building relationships with people. Working as a nurse practitioner allows her to encounter a diverse population while building relationships with her patients and helping them establish and achieve their health goals. She has developed a care philosophy centered on meeting her patients where they are with their healthcare. "I strive to develop meaningful conversations with my patients to build both an interpersonal relationship and allow them to gain trust in me as their provider," she says. "Through this, I believe that together, my patients and I can identify their health needs, set goals, and bring better health into their lives."
Choosing to work at Pinehurst Medical Clinic was an easy decision for Collins. She felt it gave her the opportunity to bring her skills and expertise closer to her community. Having lived in the Sandhills since 2018, she has come to feel that it's truly her home.
Outside of work, Collins enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She also loves gardening, swimming, baking, cooking, and spending time with her four mastiffs.
Kimberly Collins, MSN, APRN, FNP, will see patients at PMC Morganton Park - Endocrinology located at 200 Pavilion Way, NC. To learn more about PMC’s Endocrinology team, visit <a href="http://www.pinehurstmedical.com.
