Shannon Ellis, PA-C, is the newest member of Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) Dermatology – Southern Pines, located at 200 Pavilion Way, providing care for its medical dermatology patients. Ellis joins the established care team at PMC Dermatology – Southern Pines consisting of board-certified dermatology physicians Dr. Krystina Quow and Dr. Juliann Wallner, advanced practice providers Ashley Cochran, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, and Tia Fox, MMSc, PA-C, and aesthetic nurses Jill Johnson, LPN, and Amber Peele, RN.
Ellis earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Campell University in Buies Creek, N.C., and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and Spanish for Medical Professionals from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Throughout her experience providing clinical care to patients, Ellis expressed that her opportunity to learn from other healthcare providers has inspired her to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.
A patient of PMC herself, Ellis is excited to join the organization where she has first-hand experience of the commitment it has to providing patient-centered, compassionate care. “I am so proud to join PMC and I am excited to get to know my patients,” said Ellis. “I take pride in the care that I provide, and I am committed to working hard every day to give my best.”
As a member of PMC’s Dermatology team, Ellis will continue the department’s commitment to providing a high-quality, patient-centered care as part of a multispecialty group. Ellis is a North Carolina native and has called the Sandhills home since 2016. Outside of patient care, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the lake and pool, and playing with her kids.
