Joe Haralson, DNP, AGNP-C, joins Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) as the newest addition to its esteemed cardiology team, where he will help ensure timely diagnosis, effective treatment, and improved patient outcomes for individuals with a wide range of heart and vascular conditions. He will work under the direction of Pinehurst Medical Clinic Cardiologist, Joseph Hakas, MD.
Haralson graduated with his Doctor of Nursing Practice and received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Greensboro, NC.
When deciding on a career, Haralson knew healthcare was the right path for him. He was drawn specifically to cardiology after seeing firsthand how heart disease affects not just patients but their entire families, and how much of a difference early intervention and ongoing care can make in someone's quality of life. His goal is to manage patients' current cardiac concerns while encouraging them to actively participate in prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and long-term wellness.
Haralson’s clinical rotations with the PMC team gave him an inside look at the clinic's mission in action, and he knew PMC was the organization where he wanted to continue to build his career. As a provider specializing in cardiology, Haralson will help evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, provide follow-up care, support disease prevention and management, educate patients about their heart health, and collaborate closely with PMC’s Cardiology team to develop individualized care plans.

Haralson currently resides in Moore County and enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and pets outside of work.
