Pinehurst Medical Clinic Grows Primary Care Team in Moore County

September 1st, 2026

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is happy to welcome the newest addition to the Primary Care team at PMC – Heather Glen, Rachel West, PA. She will work under the direction of Kathleen Letizia, MD.

West graduated with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Pfeiffer University, Albermarle, NC. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC.

Healthcare has been a passion of West’s since a young age. She has always been eager to learn about medicine and enjoys helping people achieve their health goals. This passion has shaped her care philosophy, which centers on listening to patients, understanding their individual needs, and helping them make informed decisions about their health. “I want to ensure my patients feel supported during every appointment and throughout their care journey,” she said.

When considering the next step in her healthcare career, West wanted to join an organization that makes a meaningful impact on the communities it serves. PMC's commitment to improving health outcomes and its strong presence within the Sandhills community made it an easy choice.

A North Carolina native, West enjoys being an active part of the Sandhills community. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the area, attending local events, and trying new restaurants with her family while supporting the businesses and organizations that make the community so special.

Rachel West, PA, will see patients at PMC – Heather Glen, located at 15 Regional Drive, Pinehurst, NC.
