Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes New Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to announce the newest addition to the gastroenterology care team, Farrah Moore, NP. Moore will be working under the direction of Thomas Swantkowski, MD, FACP, FACG, AGAF, at PMC-Heather Glen in Pinehurst.

Moore earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Family Practitioner concentration from Duke University, Durham, NC. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC.

Moore’s passion for caring for others in all aspects of their health and wellness journeys sparked her healthcare career. She understands the importance of patient-centered care and is committed to providing patients with the education they need to understand their healthcare experiences better. “I'm dedicated to promoting wellness and preventing illness by empowering patients to take an active role in their health”, states Moore. “With each patient, I aim to build long-term relationships that support continuity of care. Additionally, I believe in fostering a collaborative environment where my patients feel heard and respected.” Her care philosophy is founded on trust and empathy, coupled with ensuring a holistic and evidence-based approach.

As a healthcare leader in the Sandhills Region of North Carolina, she joined PMC due to the organization’s over 70-year commitment to delivering high-quality and compassionate care.

When not caring for patients, Moore enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends at the beach. She loves traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing with her dogs.
