Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes New Primary Care Provider to Expand Patient Care in Pinehurst

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to announce the newest addition to its primary care team at PMC- North, Katelyn Lawrence, FNP-C, who joins the care team of Dr. John Jameson, in Pinehurst.

Lawrence received her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Practitioner concentration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC.

Lawrence pursued a career in healthcare, as she desired the opportunity to work in an environment where continuous learning was encouraged for herself and her patients. She is passionate about helping patients improve their overall health and wellness and finds satisfaction in supporting their positive progress. Her care philosophy, after 15 years of hands-on patient care experience, focuses on emphasizing the importance of prevention, comprehensive education, and collaborative efforts to empower patients throughout their health journeys. By giving patients the necessary knowledge and tools, I strive to help individuals achieve optimal health outcomes and overcome challenges.

Lawrence decided to join PMC because of its comprehensive healthcare team and its dedication to providing excellent, compassionate care for patients, which were key factors in her decision.

Outside of caring for patients, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Matt, and their two dogs, Maxwell and Percy.
