Jordan Blas, PA-C, joins the Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) Walk-In Clinic, located at PMC – Greenway Court. PMC’s Walk-In Clinics provides same-day care for patients' immediate healthcare needs.
Blas earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies and his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, both from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Blas brings nearly two decades of frontline medical experience to PMC. Since 2007, he has served as a hospital corpsman and combat medic in the U.S. Navy and Army before becoming a physician assistant, experience that has taken him to postings across the country. Blas considers it a privilege to help others, and he believes healthcare is where he is best suited to do that: as a provider empowered to support patients through hardship. He views it as an honor to be part of each patient's healthcare journey, whether they need educational tools or acute intervention. His care philosophy centers on collaboration, working as a team with each patient and their broader healthcare providers. "As a provider, my responsibility is to provide the best evidence-based treatments while empowering patients to share in medical decision-making," Blas said.
From the start, he saw that PMC takes pride in being part of the community, pride reflected both in the quality of care and in the working environment for providers and patients alike. That combination is what drew him to continue his healthcare career at PMC.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, and being outdoors. You can usually find him and his family at the beach or a state park.
PMC’s Walk-In Clinic locations are located at 1413 Greenway Court, Sanford, NC, and 200 Pavilion Way, Southern Pines, NC, and are available to established PMC patients.
