Dear Patient,
I wanted to personally reach out and share a few words following the recent letter from Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) about my upcoming departure. Writing this brings a mix of emotions, as caring for you and your families has genuinely been one of the greatest joys of my career.
After much thought and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to step away from my role at PMC to pursue another opportunity that will allow me to spend more time with my family-especially with my boys, who are now 9 and 10 years old. They're growing up so quickly, and I feel incredibly thankful to have the chance to be more present with them during this special stage of life.
This decision is truly bittersweet. My years at PMC have been filled with so many meaningful moments and relationships. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your care, to share in your stories, and to walk alongside you through life's challenges and joys. I will miss that connection deeply, but I take great comfort knowing you will continue to receive excellent care from the PMC Primary Care Team, a group of compassionate and dedicated professionals I respect tremendously.
Though I'll be stepping away from my clinical role, I'm not leaving our community. You'll likely still see me around town-at the grocery store, on the ball fields, or out and about with my family. Please don't hesitate to say hello, it will always warm my heart to see familiar faces.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to be part of your life and your care. It has truly been an honor and a joy, and I wish you and your loved ones continued health and happiness.
With warmest regards and deep gratitude,
Lauren
