Biography
Anjanette Barrick-Phillips, PA-C, has joined the Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) Rheumatology team at PMC Rheumatology – West End.
Anjanette earned both her Master of Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical College, Omaha, NE. Before entering the medical field, Anjanette served in the U.S. Army for 10 years as a medic. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for medicine through helping others heal and improve their quality of life. Her experience in the military shaped a care philosophy grounded in compassion, understanding, and respect for each individual’s unique needs.
Anjanette chose PMC because of the organization’s clear commitment to patient-centered care and the emphasis providers place on spending meaningful time with patients while delivering the highest quality care. Outside of caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their two Rhodesian ridgebacks. She also loves to spend time coaching gymnastics, running, paddleboarding, and home remodeling.
