Biography
Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is pleased to welcome Payton Bridges, FNP, to the Walk-In Clinic team at PMC – Greenway Court.
Payton graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, IN. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University, Hooksett, NH.
Her interest in healthcare started from a young age, inspired by her grandmother who was a nurse. From then, in high school, Payton had the opportunity to shadow nurses in the ICU and operating room, showing her the impact they made on patients’ lives, and confirmed her fascination and passion for healthcare. After learning medicine was her ultimate goal, Payton pursued her nursing degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner where she had the opportunity to combine compassionate, patient-centered care with advanced clinical training where she can help patients achieve their best health outcomes.
Her family recently relocated to Sanford in 2021, and outside of work she enjoys spending time with her three children and husband, traveling, reading a good book, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
