Ravikant Varanasi, MD, AGAF, has been a Pinehurst Medical Clinic gastroenterology and endoscopy physician for over 21 years. Dr. Varanasi serves at all three of the specialty's locations - Pinehurst, Sanford, and Pittsboro.
Since opening its doors in July 2019, PMC - Pittsboro has cared for its patients' GI needs. Dr. Varanasi says that one of the things he enjoys about serving Chatham and the surrounding Counties is the people, stating that they are an energetic and diverse group. He appreciates that his patients are motivated to be proactive about their health and display a willingness to learn why and how their GI systems function.
When asked what he likes most about being a PMC physician, he expressed his gratitude for having the chance to be a part of a group of providers who are all committed to improving the lives of others.
As a southern Orange County resident, Dr. Varanasi appreciates the opportunity to care for those in his community and hopes to be part of the solution to the growing need for medical services in the area.
