Pinehurst Medical Clinic To Offer 3D Mammography Screenings

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is proud to announce that it will soon offer 3D mammography screenings, reinforcing the organizations commitment to providing patients and the community with the most advanced technologies for early detection of breast cancer. PMC’s 3D mammography for breast cancer screenings will be available at PMC’s Heather Glen location in Pinehurst, NC.

3D mammography represents a significant advancement in breast cancer screening, producing a series of detailed images that allow physicians to examine breast tissue layer by layer. This improved clarity can help detect cancers earlier and reduce false positives, minimizing the need for additional testing.

PMC also recommends breast cancer screenings for younger women based on a personal risk assessment, as early detection saves lives.
