Biography
Allison Valenza, DNP, FNP-BC serves patients at PMC Primary Care - Morganton Park.
Allison earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
For Allison, a career in healthcare was a natural choice, rooted in her passion for building relationships, connecting with others and making a meaningful difference in their lives. Her care philosophy centers on holistic, patient-centered healthcare that looks beyond physical symptoms alone. While physical health often takes priority by default, she believes mental and emotional health matter just as much. Her goal is to help patients make informed decisions about their care so they can be as healthy and informed as possible, and she considers it an honor to be part of that journey.
Originally from New Bern, Allison moved to the area in 2020 with her husband and their two pets: Ramses, an 11-year-old Maine Coon mix, and Asher, a 6-year-old German Shepherd. Outside of work, her favorite hobby is cooking, she loves exploring cuisines from around the world, most recently inspired by her first trip to Europe this past spring.
