Biography
Julie Baugher, MD, is a member of Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s primary care team at PMC-Murdocksville. With more than 20 years of experience caring for patients’ internal medicine needs, Dr. Baugher has developed a care philosophy that goes beyond treating patients physically. When caring for patients, she considers their overall well-being, from physical to mental health. She emphasizes nutrition, fitness, and disease prevention while also caring for each patient’s emotional journey.
In addition to being a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Baugher is a board-certified obesity medicine physician through the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). She is also a Culinary Medicine Specialist and is Level 1 certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), further supporting her focus on nutrition, movement, fitness, and lifestyle as important components of overall health and well-being.
Physicians certified by the ABOM have achieved the highest standard of certification in the practice of obesity medicine and obesity care. ABOM-certified physicians are designated Diplomates of the ABOM and are specifically trained to evaluate, treat, and advocate for patients with obesity and obesity-related conditions using evidence-based approaches with a focus on:
